Would any one know who Olive Freelove Fisher married after her husband Peter Fisher died in 1796, leaving her with 4 young children? Hoping someone might have her in their family tree. They lived in Port Jolly, Port Mouton area, Queens Co., N.S.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have been working on my Dad’s family tree for many years, but still have many things to fill in. Wilma
Dear Archivist
There is a reference to William Devereux in Simeon Perkins records.
He was a grantee in Shelburne, Nova Scotia ca.1783-84.
I am wondering if you can confirm that he subsequently settled in Queens County?
Thank you.
